DIEGO COSTA has moved his family to Madrid to push through his move to Atletico.
The AWOL striker is STILL not back at Chelsea despite being included in their Premier League squad. And those closest to the 28-year-old are now in the Spanish capital instead of his base in Oxshott, Surrey.
Costa’s house is near the Blues’ training ground, where he was expected to report back after his summer holidays in Brazil.
But the Spain international has not returned and is racking up fines while absent from training.
SunSport revealed how he has no plans to return to clear his locker – telling team-mates to take his belongings. But he may have to return to seal a move away from the club.
And he is determined to return to Atletico Madrid, where he spent four years before arriving at Stamford Bridge.
Antonio Conte told Costa he was not in his plans during showdown talks in January, then told him again via text during the summer. A shock loan move to Fenerbahce was even touted earlier this week, with the Turkish transfer window closing on Friday.
But they instead moved for Tottenham flop Vincent Janssen, leaving Costa in limbo with his London employers.
