OUSMANE DEMBELE’S stuttering start to his Barcelona career has taken a new blow after he was hit by a hamstring injury in the match against Getafe.
Dembele has been struggling to make an impact at the Nou Camp since his controversial £138million move from Borussia Dortmund. And the French wide man has suffered a new blow after he was forced out of the La Liga clash with Getafe in the first half – only his second start for the club.
Dembele pulled up with what looked like a hamstring strain in the 29th minute of the first half having failed to impress before then.
And he was unable to continue, limping off to be replaced by former Everton star Gerard Deulofeu.
Things got worse for Barcelona before the break when Getafe took a shock lead through a stunning long range strike from Gaku Shibasaki.
