Everton convinced Ronald Koeman wants out of Goodison Park

EVERTON stars are convinced Ronald Koeman wants out of Goodison Park.
Koeman is under massive pressure after Sunday’s catastrophic 1-0 defeat by Burnley left them hovering two points off the relegation zone. But senior Everton players have noticed the Dutch boss becoming more distant and detached and believe Koeman is just waiting to be fired by chairman Bill Kenwright and owner Farhad Moshiri.
Koeman’s demeanour around Everton’s Finch Farm training centre has changed dramatically after a dreadful sequence of results.
That took his total outlay over £220m in 15 months on Merseyside.
Although Moshiri has appealed for calm after fans demanded Koeman is sacked, Everton are already considering likely replacements. Carlo Ancelotti, axed by Bayern Munich last week, is one of them but it will take some remarkable persuasion to convince the Italian, 58, to accept the job.
Ancelotti, a serial title winner with AC Milan, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Bayern, wants another one of Europe’s big clubs.
After the disappointing loss against the Clarets, Moshiri said: “We are in a bad moment. But we have played three of the four title contenders away. “(Burnley) was the only unexpected loss. The four pre-qualifying UEFA games and two group games on Thursdays haven’t helped.
“There is mental and physical fatigue and seven injuries.
“These are early days and Koeman has my total support. We have great fans and they deserve better.
“We know the honest and objective expectations of our supporters and will not let them down.”
