Burnley 0 Arsenal 1: Alexis Sanchez grabs last second winner from spot

ALEXIS SANCHEZ scored a last minute penalty as Arsenal moved ahead of rivals Tottenham and into the top four.
Referee Lee Mason pointed to the spot after midfielder Aaron Ramsey was pulled down in the box by James Tarkowski with just seconds left on the clock.

Alexis Sanchez drilled it low to the keeper's right to give Arsenal all three points
And Sanchez coolly slotted past Nick Pope as furious home fans booed the officials off the field at the final whistle.
The Gunners coach only arrived 52 minutes before kick-off after getting delayed on their short drive over from Preston. With Chelsea, Tottenham and Liverpool all dropping points on Saturday, this would have been a handy game for Arsene Wenger's men to win.
But for 91 minutes it appeared as though a resolute Burnley defence would keep the Gunners at bay and keep their fourth clean sheet in a row. Burnley came close to taking an early lead when Iceland winger Joey Berg Gudmundsson skipped past Nacho Monreal and let fly. It looked destined for the top corner but Petr Cech did superbly to tip the effort onto the post and away.
Shkodran Musafi flung himself in the way of Steven Defour's effort as Arsenal were on the ropes early on.
The Gunners finally woke up though and Alexandre Lacazette got clear down the left before crossing for Ramsey who blazed his shot over. Tarkowski made a superb last ditch tackle to thwart Sanchez as he got a sight of goal - while Monreal fizzed a low shot inches wide.
Yet Cech had to come to the visitors rescue again minutes before the break as he went full stretch to tip away Robbie Brady's curling free-kick. These two teams were neck and neck in the top half of the table going into this game and there was no sign that either side was going to come out on top. Watching England boss Gareth Southgate must have been impressed by the way Ben Mee and Tarkowski were repelling everything Arsenal could throw at them. When the visitors did get some space, Ramsey fired a rising drive over the angle - while Hector Bellerin appealed for a penalty when he went down under Brady's tackle.
The pair were involved at the other end soon afterwards but this time Bellerin did well to block Brady's goalbound effort.
Arsenal were lumping the ball into the box in the slim hope of finding a winner and when Sead Kolasinac headed the ball back across goal, Tarkowski made his one crucial mistake of the game by climbing over Ramsey leaving the ref with no choice but to point to the spot.
