Galatasaray enter race to land Manchester United contract rebel Marouane Fellaini

GALATASARAY have entered the race to sign Manchester United star Marouane Fellaini.
Fellaini, 29, is a free agent at the end of the season and has rejected a new contract to extend his stay at Old Trafford.
Marouane Fellaini is wanted by Galatasaray
United boss Jose Mourinho is keen to keep the Belgian international, who has become an integral part of his plans, at United and wants a deal agreed before the midfielder is free to talk to overseas clubs in January.
Now Turkish giants Galatasaray are preparing a tempting financial package to lure Fellaini to Istanbul, ahead of local rivals Besiktas who are closely monitoring the situation.
United were quick to dampen speculation the current Turkish champions had agreed an £8million deal for the upcoming January transfer window. Galatasaray, managed by Igor Tudor, are top of the Turkish Super Lig, but failed to qualify for the Champions League this season and are keen to add quality to their ranks.
Fellaini followed David Moyes from Everton to Old Trafford in the summer of 2013 for £27.5million. The powerhouse midfielder was seen as the poster boy for Moyes' disastrous nine-month reign at United, and looked to be surplus to requirements under Louis Van Gaal and current manager Jose Mourinho.
But despite a section of United fans not being convinced by Fellaini during his time at Old Trafford, the midfielder has fought back and proved his worth with 19 goals in 95 appearances.
