MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly lining up a shock January move for Chelsea winger Willian.
The 29-year-old is yet to start in the Premier League this season, as Jose Mourinho looks to be reunited with the Brazilian international.
According to the Express, the Red Devils will make a swoop for Willian in the winter transfer window should his situation remain the same. And with reports linking Chelsea to Paris Saint-Germain forward Lucas Moura, the ex-Shakhtar Donetsk star could be seen as surplus to requiremnents. United managed to prise away Nemanja Matic from Stamford Bridge in the summer, while they also tried to nab Willian before the end of the window.
Speaking to Football Focus recently, he said: "Of course I want to play every game, but I respect every decision because we have great players in the squad, so you have to respect Conte’s decision.
"But every player wants to play." While he confirmed United were interested in his services in the summer in a separate interview to UOL.
Willian said: "I had contact with Manchester United but I was not close to leaving.
"Of course, sometimes you get upset that you’re not playing.
"But that doesn’t mean you do not like the club or the people who work there."
