Juventus 3 Crotone 0: Old Lady return to winning ways in Serie A

JUVENTUS got back to winning ways in Serie A thanks to second-half goals from Mario Mandzukic super-sub Mattia de Sciglio and Medhi Benatia.
The Old Lady suffered their second defeat of the league season last week, to Sampdoria, losing ground to leaders Napoli in the title race.
Medhi Benatia took two touches to control the ball at the back post before prodding home
But they bounced back with three goals in the final 38 minutes of the game in front of their relieved home fans.
On 52 minutes Mandzukic opened the scoring with a trademark finish, heading a perfectly delivered cross back across the goal and inside the post.
And just eight minutes later the Juve lead was doubled when de Sciglio – who had only been on the pitch for three minutes - scored his first goal at senior level at the 173rd game for club and country.
Crotone hacked away at a clearance that fell to the full-back’s feet and he rifled home a long-range shot. And, on 71 minutes, the tie was settled when centre-back Benatia found himself in acres of space in the Crotone box for a tap-in.
Manchester United transfer target Miralem Pjanic did all the hard work down the right wing before delivering a whipped cross. Benatia took two touches to control the ball at the back post before prodding it into the empty net.
The comfortable win leaves Juve in third behind pace setters Napoli and second-placed Inter Milan.
And fourth-placed Roma can still peg them back with a game in hand on the Turin giants and defending champions.
