PSG 4 Nantes 1: An Edinson Cavani brace, and strikes from Angel Di Maria and Javier Pastore move Unai Emery’s side six points clear

EDINSON CAVANI took his tally to 19 goals for the season as PSG cruised to an easy 4-1 win over Claudio Ranier's Nantes.
The striker netted twice at Parc des Princes, as Angel Di Maria and Javier Pastore also were on target for Unai Emery's men.

PSG striker Edinson Cavani opened the scoring at Parc des Princes in the 38th minute
PSG started on the front foot from the first whistle, with Neymar, Cavani and Dani Alves all going close.
Thiago Silva, Di Maria and Javier Pastore all then threatened to open the scoring, as Unai Emery was left wondering whether they would be able to convert any chances.
And they didn't have to way too long as the former Napoli star netted in the 38th minute.
After being found by Pastore inside the box, the 30-year-old tucked his shot into the bottom left corner. Just four minutes later Les Parisiens doubled their lead, when Di Maria's long-range strike found the bottom left corner from a tight angle.
Nantes then pulled a goal back in the 60th minute against the run of play, as Prejuce Nakoulma's found the back of the net from close range.
But any chance of a comeback were dashed when Pastore restored PSG's two-goal lead with a fine finish into the top left corner from right-hand side of the box.
And there was still time for Cavani to net another brace, as he dispatched his effort in the 79th minute as PSG extended their lead over Monaco to six points at the top of Ligue 1.
