ARSENAL played their final group match in the Europa League in an Emirates Stadium full of empty seats.
The Gunners reportedly sold over 50,000 seats for their clash with BATE Borisov, but it seems many preferred to stay at home.

A sea of red seats filled the stadium as Arsene Wenger put forward a young team to conclude the stage having already finished top of the group.
With their passage to the next round already sealed and the Gunners faithful still suffering a hangover from their weekend defeat to Manchester United it was unsurprising the fan base – who have a history of not showing up – didn’t show up. A similar number of tickets were sold ahead of the North London side’s Europa League clashes against Red Star Belgrade and Cologne.
And a similar number of tickets went unused. The crowd number could rival the Emirates lowest ever attendance which was 44,064 that watched Arsenal beat Doncaster Rovers in the Carabao Cup in September.
Those who did brave the cold London night witnessed Mathieu Debuchy pounce on a lose ball and score a screamer to put Arsenal ahead.
Theo Walcott and Jack Wilshere added more goals before the half.
Social media reacted to the half-empty Emirates Stadium.
