ALVARO MORATA has revealed which Chelsea star has the best car at the club.
Footballers are renowned for their flashy motors, and the boys at Stamford Bridge do not lack on that front.
David Luiz and Victor Moyes both have top of the range Mercedes G-Class vehicles, although N’Golo Kante prefers his five-door Mini Cooper S to get around in.
But there is one man’s car who is the envy of Morata… and he lifted the lid while filming an advert for Chelsea sponsors Yokohama Tyres.
When quizzed on which of his team-mates had the motor, the 25-year-old said: “Thibaut Courtois, he has an Aston Martin. It’s very, very good.”
And indeed it should be for £250,000. When asked about his own driving technique, Morata also revealed that his skills behind the wheel did not come as naturally to him as finding the back of the net.
Asked if he passed his driving test first time, he said: “Honestly, no. Honestly, I passed second time.” During the short Q&A, the frontman also said that he usually sits next to sub goalkeeper Willy Caballero and Cesc Fabregas on the team coach.
Morata arrived at Stamford from Real Madrid last summer and enjoyed a stunning start to life in England. He bagged 12 goals before the end of 2017, but after troubles with injuries, did not find the net again until last Sunday.
Now having returned to form, he will be hoping to help fire the Blues to a top four finish and FA Cup success. He and his side face fourth-placed Tottenham in a crunch Prem showdown immediately after the international break.
Fifth-placed Chelsea are currently five points behind their London rivals.
And next month they battle it out with Southampton at Wembley for a place in the FA Cup Final.
