Dele Alli told Ashley Young to ‘retire with a zimmer frame’

DELE ALLI told Ashley Young to "retire with a zimmer frame" during the pair's on-pitch bust-up at the weekend.
The two players clashed during Manchester United's 1-0 home win against Tottenhamthat kept them in touch with rivals Manchester City at the Premier League summit.
Ashley Young and Dele Alli went nose-to-nose in the Manchester United vs Tottenham game
But in the first half of the game, Alli and Young went nose-to-nose and had to be separated by their own players. Originally it was reported that the two clashed because Young had told Alli to "let him know when he wins the Prem". But the fuse was ACTUALLY lit when Alli told Young to "retire with a zimmer frame", according to the Manchester Evening News.
Young, 32, was a title-winner with United back in 2012-13, in Sir Alex Ferguson's final season as manager. The duo almost came to blows in the 30th minute of the potential early-season title clash. They were pulled apart by team-mates but the war of words continued — with Young clearly coming out on top.
As the two were walking away, eagle-eyed viewers caught the ex-Aston Villa man saying: "When you've won the Premier League, let me know." Alli, despite his incredible potential, has yet to win any kind of trophy, having already finished a runner up in each of the past three seasons. Twice with Tottenham, and with MK Dons a year earlier. When the duo went nose-to-nose, Spurs fans much have feared the worst given their No20's chequered past in those situations. However, he showed maturity and didn't react.
