Bayern Munich want Germany World Cup winning boss Joachim Low to take over from Jupp Heynckes in 2018
BAYERN MUNICH reportedly want Joachim Low to replace Jupp Heynckes next year.
The 72-year-old has ruled out the chance of extending his stay at the Allianz Arena.
Low has emerged as a top target to fill the void when
Heyneckes'
spell as boss ends in June, according to
Bild
.
Following the dismissal of
Carlo Ancelotti
, the German returned to the Bundesliga giants for the fourth time.
But the former Borussia Monchengladbach player vowed to only stay until the end of the season.
Bayern
president Uli Hoeness previously stated that it was 'possible' the coach would stay, but Heynckes snubbed this claim on Saturday.
He said: "I don't know what prompted Uli to say that.
"We have a very clear agreement that the work goes on until June 30, 2018. "What other people say, whether players or officials, that I should keep going - I don't want to comment on it every week because it's a clear agreement and that's how it'll stay.
"Nothing will shake that." Low, who guided Germany to World Cup glory in 2014, has also attracted interest from Real Madrid.
The Spanish giants have claimed that
they will turn to Low if they sack Zinedine Zidane
.
