The £75million summer signing from Everton would have been ruled out of the game against Watford and the massive showdowns with Arsenal and Manchester City.
But Lukaku was let off the hook on Monday, meaning he will be free to play in United's next game against the Hornets.
After a red-hot start to the season, scoring nine times in his first ten games, Lukaku has gone off the boil lately. The former Chelsea forward has scored just once in his last ten appearances in all competitions.
His frustrations have been starting to show lately too, with the outburst on Saturday the culmination of weeks of hard work gone unrewarded. Despite his lack of goals, United chief Jose Mourinho has refused to place any of the blame on Lukaku.
Mourinho said: "In the last minute he was fighting and running back like he was in the first minute, so I think it is also a mentality question. "The way Romelu wins the corner for the goal, the way Romelu ends the game making tackles in the left-back position, that is the mentality I want.
"And, unfortunately, not every player is the same. Players are men, men are different. Men are unique cases.
"Some guys are capable to go into the limits of their efforts and some other guys even with a lot of talent, they don't manage to do that.
"So Romelu, for me, fantastic. Didn't score, I don't care."
