Chelsea to lose out on PSG winger Lucas Moura – with Willian set to stay at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea have given up on chasing PSG winger Lucas Moura
Willian had started the season poorly and was continually being left on the bench.
There had been rumours that the Blues were considering a big-money sale to China.
But in recent weeks Willian has impressed, working his way back into Antonio Conte’splans with three goals in his last five games.
According to French website Le10Sport, the Blues have ditched their plans to sign PSGwinger Moura. Moura, 25, has been surplus to requirements in the French capital after the massive arrivals of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
He has not started a single game this season, appearing off the bench only five times in Ligue 1.
Moura, who has played more than 200 matches for the club since arriving from Sao Paulo in 2013, has just one goal and one assist this season.
A Brazilian international, Moura has also been linked with a move to the Chinese Premier League.
But he is said to want to stay in Europe. Willian has started 10 matches and come off the bench in 12 more for the Blues this season.
Speaking after the draw with Atletico Madrid on Wednesday, the Brazilian admitted the squad were disappointed to finish second in their Champions League group. He said: “No, we are not happy. We wanted to finish first. We tried to create some chances in the second half.
“We have this really good team, a strong team. Our desire was to finish first.
“We are now second, it’s OK, so let’s think about the Premier League and the Cups.”
