Atletico Madrid 0 Real Madrid 0: Zinedine Zidane’s side held to goalless draw against rivals

REAL MADRID and rivals Atletico played out a 0-0 draw at the Wanda Metropolitano to send Barcelona fans into delirium.
Zinedine Zidane's side were unable to breakdown Diego Simeone's men, as Barca now sit ten points clear of the pair after 12 games played.

Real Madrid centre-back Sergio Ramos suffered an injury to his nose in the first half
A broke nose picked up by Sergio Ramos was one of the key talking points of the match with Zidane confirming he sustained a fracture of the nasal septum.
He said: "It is a fracture, for Sergio. I believe it's broken. I don't know how long he'll be out for." Emilio Butragueno - Los Blancos' public relations director added: "Ramos is going to have tests but if he has left the game it is a bad sign.
"We have to be careful and see what the doctors tell us." The game started off in blistering fashion, with Diego Simeone's side squandering a key chance in the third minute.
Marcelo gifted the ball for Antoine Griezmann, but the French striker failed to capitalise, but immediately after Raphael Varane toe-poked the ball to Angel Correa, who only had Kiko Casilla to beat.
But the Argentinian forward's dinked chip drifted just wide of the post. It took until the 32nd minute for Los Blancos to have their first real chance of the match, which was almost a carbon-copy of the Correa attempt.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Toni Kroos combined beautifully with a one-two, and the German midfielder's lobbed attempt crept inches wide. Sergio Ramos then spurned a great chance four minutes later, but he couldn't direct his header on target after being found by Casemiro. While the Spanish international was on the ground, he took a kick to the face from Lucas Hernandez, leading to a broken nose as blood poured out from it. It took until the 79th minute for the next big chance of the match, and it fell to the home side. Substitutes Fernando Torres and Kevin Gameiro combined, with the French striker dinking an effort over Casilla, only for Varane to make a goal-line clearing header away.
From the resulting corer, Yannick Carrasaco volleyed a strike on goal, but Madrid talisman Ronaldo got in the way.
Kroos then tested Atletico goalkeeper Jan Oblak from distance in the 86th minute, with the Slovenian international spilling the ball, leading to Diego Godin to hastily clear away from the onrushing Ronaldo.
And the Portuguese striker was then left with his head in his hands after his late shot was blocked emphatically by defender Lucas.
